First edition, approx.7 ¾" x 5¼" (19.5 x 13 cm), pp. [2], 13, [1]; original self-wrappers printed in red, stapled; lightly tioned; very good. 13pp. Text in Indonesian. 19.5 x 13cm. Leaves evenly browned, upper wrapper margins trifle foxed, a very good copy in original stapled wrappers. Although not otherwise stated, this is from the library of Professor Cyril Skinner (1924-1986) first Chair of Indonesian Languages at Monash University, and specialist in Malay and Thai literature. A rare pamphlet issued by the Information Department of the Republic of Indonesia, East Sumatra, during the Indonesian Revolution showing "how the mass media in the Nusantara and Malay Peninsula regions responded to the draft negotiations on independence and recognition of sovereignty between Indonesia and the Netherlands" (Wikimedia Commons).
