Signed first edition, first printing of The Canfield Decision, inscribed by Vice President Spiro Agnew to Nancy Sinatra. Octavo, [6], 344pp, [2]. Blue hardcover, cloth spine, title in gilt on spine, gilt illustration on front board. Stated "first edition" on copyright page. Light sunning along top quarter of boards, internally fine. In the publisher's dust jacket, $8.95 on the front flap, light wear at edges, bright illustrations. Inscribed by former Vice President Spiro Agnew to Nancy Sinatra, Sr, the first wife of Frank Sinatra and mother of his children. The book is inscribed: "To Nancy, Sr., With respect and affection. Ted Agnew. 4/17/76." After his resignation in 1973, Vice President Spiro Agnew returned to his home in Ocean City, NJ. With a loan from Frank Sinatra for $200,000, he was able to cover his legal bills and living expenses. In retirement he wrote this book, The Canfield Decision and his memoirs, Go Quietly...Or Else.
