A very good x-lib. copy; the accompanying rare circular letter has no accessioning.. 8vo, viii, 164, [4] pp. + 5 plates; 3 folding tables. Two separate items are offered. The first is a rare circular letter from Ehrlich to colleagues just beginning to use his new ' 606' formula. The letter is large folded sheet making four pages and imprinted on only pages 1 and 4. The letter reports on the clinical procedures to be used in administering the drug. The letter provides detailed information on the use, dosages, procedures of injection etc.. The text implies that these were last minute directions of a practical nature to assist physicians embarking on the regimen of the cure with their patients. There is no copy of this separately issued circular located. It originated under Ehrlich's name from Frankfurt. Accompanying the letter is a copy of the first edition of his famous book.
