First edition presumed; 6 3/4 x 4 1/2; pp. 104; what appear to be homemade wraps from a different publication; cloth back strip; spotting and discoloration to wraps and pages (not affecting readability); small hole through fore-edge (insect damage [?]); chips and nicks to edges; illustrated advertisements throughout; faint penciled-in name of previous owner to front wrap; good to very good condition. An apparently unrecorded regional cookbook, it features recipes for breads and cakes, poultry and game, and ice cream, as well as various adverts for local, York businesses.
