Features a forword by W.H. Auden. A near fine copy with a rubber stamp from a Newspaper receiving the book in 1957 on the front pastedown obscured by the flap of the very good dust jacket that has some edge wear at the spine ends and corners as well as a skinned area at the bottom of the rear panel. Still, a very presentable copy of this important debut. Wright would go on win the Pulitzer Prize for his 1972 book "Collected Poems.
