Signed by Peter Taylor in pencil on the front free endpaper, "Peter Taylor, London, 25 August 1945." A good copy with some soiling to the extremities, and a bump to the lower right corner of about 70 text pages, without dustwrapper. Peter Taylor was one of America's best short story writers, and winner of the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the 1985 PEN/Faulkner Award.
