Signed in pencil on the front free endpaper by Eleanor Taylor, poet and wife of Peter Taylor, whose bookplate is pasted upside down on the back free endpaper. A good copy with soiling and some scattered stains to the boards, without dustwrapper. The text pages are clean and tight. Peter Taylor was one of America's best short story writers, and winner of the 1987 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the 1985 PEN/Faulkner Award.
