A very fine copy with pictorial dust jacket. An excellent work on this little-known outlaw in the Pacific Northwest. Vaughan was Tom McCarty's brother-in-law. The relationship of the two of them, previous to McCarty's association with Butch Cassidy, extended "over Oregon, Idaho and Washington Territories" and "included everything from stealing horses to robbing banks.".

The edges of the covers are gently bumped and rubbed. The dust jacket is in very good condition. There are a couple of small chips in the paper at the head of the spine. A very attractive dust jacket. Filmed twice, in 1929 and 1940.
