Description
First Edition Thus/First Printing, 3 Volume Set of Dos Passos' "USA Trilogy" (The 42nd Parallel, 1919, and The Big Money); All books in Near Fine/Near Fine condition. A remarkably well preserved set of this trilogy, called one of the 100 best English-language works of the 20th century. This is the 1946 reprint edition from the Riverside Press, Cambridge, that follows the original publications in the early 1930's. All books in Near Fine condition with light rubbing to the boards, trivial shelf wear to the edges, a PO small bookplate to the front pastedown of all 3 volumes, and a previous owner's stamp to the lower text block of all 3 volumes; all jackets in near fine condition with mild rubbing to the jacket edges and a short closed tear to the spine head of "Nineteen Nineteen". Missing the original slipcase. A highly collectible set of this trilogy, scarce in this condition and all together. Not remaindered, not ex-library; will ship securely wrapped in a sturdy box.
