A volume in the Children's Red Book Series. Although not credited on the title page, Potter's name does appear on the cover. Very scarce in nice condition. 6.75'' x 5''. Original red paper boards, pictorial paste-on. Color pictorial endpapers. Illustrated by Neill 15 full-page color images plus black-and-white images throughout. 3 pages of ads at rear. 58, [2] pages. Early ink owner name. Light wear to extremities, slight sunning to spine.
