Description
Brussels: A. Bieleveld, 1922. Original wraps. Very Good. INSCRIBED BY MAURICE WIDY IN YEAR-OF-PUBLICATION on the dedication page. A solid copy to boot of the 1922 1st edition. Tight and VG in its pictorial wrappers, with photographic paste-on to the front panel. Somewhat pronounced foxing along the panels (especially the rear panel) and light wear at the spine. Former owner name as well at the front free endpaper. Still though, very presentable. Octavo, issue #1 in the wonderful "Bibliotheque des Sciences Cinegraphiques" series, published in Brussels.

Description
Large (27" x 17") very lightly colored map, map title on map, no date or publication location listed on the map, margins somewhat narrow; especially top margin, center fold. Some browning, aging, and scattered soiling or staining on reverse, a couple of minor chips and tears in margin, minor tape repairs on reverse; still a presentable map with a decent impression. An interesting map from a scarce atlas (Atlas of Bergen County New Jersey 1776-1876). It was published during the American Centennial, and illustrates some estates in a probably less known town in New Jersey. Founded in the early 18th century Closter is still a relatively small town in Bergen County.
