Description
n.p.: n.p., 1940. Fine. Black ink on beige ground, on an art board, depicting seven beavers listening to an eighth read from a paper, while two more fell a tree in the background. Signed "Slade" in the lower right corner. Image size is approximately 10 by 16 inches. The image is fine with one white spot, apparently put there by the artist. The board is approximately 15 by 18 inches. Along the bottom is the notation that the width is to be 4-3/4 inches and the image is to appear at the foot of p. 12. Some smudging to the board margins; the image, though. is in fine condition. Now matted in a mat approximately 18 by 24 inches.
