A pristine copy of this notorious novel that was banned in many cities due to it's obscene language; also considered one of the great novels of the 20th century (The novel was included in Time's "100 Best English-language Novels from 1923 to 2005"). Very scarce in this condition, particularly signed. This copy is in fine condition with a square, tight binding, bright gold lettering over black and gray boards, and clean white pages throughout; only very light rubbing to the board edges and a couple of light spots to the exterior text block keep this from as new condition. Housed in a clean, crisp, fine dust jacket that shows only the scratched area. Housed in a custom clamshell box. Not remaindered, not price clipped ($6.00 intact), and not ex-library; in a protective Mylar cover and will ship in a sturdy box.
