The fact is, it reached me when I was very busy making preparations for a visit to Scotland, where I have been till within a few days, + it wholly escaped my memory. If you will allow me now to see your collection, I shall be very happy to do so any evening you may appoint excepting Tuesday next. I am, sir, your obed. servant [signed]."
