Description
[West Chester, Penn. ?], 1890. The photograph is approx. 12" x 15¾" (by sight) in what appears to be the original mount (approx. 18" x 22"). The mount is broken at 3 corners but no loss of any lettering or image; some light overall spotting of the image, else generally very good. The 12-member team is pictured in 2 rows in a formal pose with a landscape backdrop; players and positions are identified in ink at the bottom; some light overall spotting, else very good. The Pennsylvania Military Academy began playing baseball in 1866. Founded in 1821 as the Bullock School for Boys, the academy moved to West Chester, Pennsylvania and the school's name changed to the Pennsylvania Military Academy. PMA enrolled preparatory as well as college students until 1892, and the named changed to Pennsylvania Military College. In 1972, what had been America's second-oldest military college finally disbanded.

Description
Los Angeles: Twentieth Century-Fox, 1938. Final Script for the 1938 film. Loosely based on the events surrounding the construction of the Suez Canal, the film stirred controversy upon its release when the descendants of main characters Matthieu and Ferdinand de Lesseps unsuccessfully sued the studio for libel. With all the elaborate costuming, special effects, and production costs typical of a Zanuck picture, its cinematic qualities do their best to offset what can only be called a very unique take on historical accuracy. Nominated for the Academy Awards for Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, and Best Sound Recording. Power and Annabella were married shortly after the film's release. Set in Paris and Egypt, shot on location in Arizona and California. Pale blue titled wrappers, noted as FINAL on the front wrapper, rubber-stamped copy No. 178, dated April 8, 1938. Distribution page present, with receipt removed. Title page present, dated April 8, 1938, noted as Final Script, with credits for screenwriters Dunne and Josephson. 186 leaves, mimeograph duplication. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good bound internally with three gold brads.
