Description
Rhode Island, 1941. 21 gelatin silver glossy snapshot photographs. Sizes mostly about 3-3/4" x 6", a few slightly smaller. Uncaptioned. 1 vols. Oblong 8vo. String-tied blue embossed boards with "Photographs" in gilt. Modest soiling, a scrape on one image, a couple of images have fallen out but not pillaged, else near fine. 21 gelatin silver glossy snapshot photographs. Sizes mostly about 3-3/4" x 6", a few slightly smaller. Uncaptioned. 1 vols. Oblong 8vo. The album depicts a young man in his mid-teens and an older man, perhaps his father, fishing, from both a river bank and from a boat, and them proudly displaying their catch, another of them with guns and a dog, as well as a few photos of their faithful hound. A nice little album with pleasing mid-century images of fishing. Some of the images are date-stamped August 1941 and all are contemporary to 1941 (with one earlier image, of the Pawtucket Railroad station dated in 1880, loosely inserted).
