One of the best on the subject. A comprehensive history and study of the Market Street Railway Company, one of the nation's major street railway companies. Includes a list of the passenger cars run by the company between 1921 and 1944. This is perhaps the key book on the subject. First published in 1971, this revised edition conatins everything that was in the first edition, plus much additional information furnished by the author. Also, this edition is typeset wheras the first edition was typewritten (and looked almost like it was mimeographed)..
