Slightly worn, foxed, creased and stained; several leaves frayed or with small tears; some leaves detached; small publisher's handstamp to lower right corner of all titles. First Edition, later issue, printed from plates of the first edition with new title adding price in marks. Not in Hofmann, McCorkle, or Hoboken. The first edition of all three quartets first appeared in 1848.
