Dave Evans was best remembered for completing an entire Indianapolis 500 race without making a pit-stop in 1931.. Letter on single typed sheet, Hotel Antlers letterhead. Dated January 17, 1934. Original mailing folds, small pin hole at top left corner, otherwise near fine. Signed in black pen by Dave Evans. Provenance: Dr. Harlen Hunter, sold at the Heritage Auctions June 30, 2016 Auto Racing Sports Collectibles Catalog Auction #7146.
