London (1880): Chatto & Windus. Hard Cover. Very Good+/No Dust Jacket. Octavo. TWO VOLUMES. SIGNED BY BENNETT CERF ON FFEP ON EACH VOLUME without personalization. From the library of Bennett Cerf (May 25, 1898-August 27, 1971). Cerf was one of the founders of Random House publishing and the author and publisher of a number of humor books. Several hundred illustrations by Cruikshank including foldout frontispiece in series two. Bound in original green cloth with gilt lettering and illustration spines and front covers. Mild scattered foxing, mostly to preliminaries. A very handsome set with one corner bumped on series one. 388 pp. 428 pp. + 32 pp publisher's catalog rear.
