An early book by Williams, in a short-lived series edited by Ezra Pound. Williams describes the book as "a satire on the novel form in which a little (female) Ford car falls more ore less in love with a Mack truck" (see WALLACE A6a). 88070.

All edges marbled. The extremities are mildly bumped and rubbed, and the spines are moderately rolled. The front endsheet of volume 1 is split along the hinge, and the text block of volume 3 is cracked at the beginning. The cloth on the backstrip of volume 2 is rippled, and the text block of this volume is just starting to crack at the front. Illustrated throughout.
