A Near Fine copy in the scarce and equally Fine original color pictorial dust jacket. 64 pages. Forty-four black and white drawings of which eight are full-page. Four magnificent double-page color pop-ups. Some very light toning to blank margins. This is the French edition of Mickey Mouse in King Arthur's Court (New York, 1933). Magdeleine du Genestoux wrote the text for several of the Walt Disney books published by Hachette between 1932 and 1936. Also known by her married name Madeleine Arrigon, was a French publisher and author of children's novels. Often referred to as the heiress of the Countess of Segur, she is the author of sixty-two titles between 1918 and 1942, the year of her death, notably for the Pink Library of Hachette Editions.
