Description
2005. [London:] Linda Anne Landers, 2025. Folio, 4 leaves. [5]pp. with hand-stencilling in color, paper cutouts, and laid-on or laid-in printed inserts including handwritten colophon. String-sewn blue card wrappers with hand-stencilled paper onlays. New. § Number 5 of 14 copies, numbered and signed by the artist, whose highly creative and visionary re-imagining of Blake's poems have earned considerable attention and respect from the book arts collectors. The starting point for this book is the famous story of Blake and his wife being discovered by a friend sitting naked in their garden, in imitation of Adam and Eve. The title page is followed by a stencilled image of Blake and Catherine in the garden, a quotation from Several Questions Answered revealed beneath a liftable flap, and an original poem by Landers about the Blakes printed on a small sheet and inserted in a decorated slot.
