Description
Moscow: People's Commissariat of Justice of the U.S.S.R., 1938. Boards. Very Good +/Very Good -. Complete Verbatim Report in the Case of the Anti-Soviet Bloc of Rights and Trotskyites, Including Bukharin, Rykov, Tagoda, Krestinsky, Rakovsky, Rosengolz, Grinko amd Others". A solid, tight copy of the 1938 1st English language edition in book form -- AND IN ITS VERY UNCOMMON DUSTJACKET. Clean and VG+ (light offsetting to the inner hinges) in a bright, price-clipped, VG- dustjacket, with notable chipping at and around the spine base, very light chipping to the spine crown and light, minor soiling to the rear panel. Nonetheless, a scarce look --largely via court transcripts-- into the (terrifying) Soviet legal system under Stalin. Thick octavo, some 800 pgs. all told.
